[Ensemble cast + historical figures + hilarious everyday life + loving father and filial son + ancient emperors transmigrate to the modern world + no female lead]
Ye Jiyuan was an upstanding young man of the 21st century, until one day after school, when he went to buy groceries and met an old beggar. The beggar gave him a jade box, and then one strange thing after another began to happen. Historical figures appeared at his home like shoots after the rain, starting with Qin Shi Huang, followed by Emperor Gaozu of Han. Ever since these venerable ancestors transmigrated here, Ye Jiyuan’s life has changed completely. Looking at his dwindling bank balance, all he can do is wail, “Your Majesties, please behave yourselves! Keep spending like this and I’ll be stuck eating steamed buns with pickled vegetables every day...”
