The Mark of Light and Wind

The summer after the college entrance exams, Zhufu picked up a pro gamer as a teammate in an online game. He was incredibly skilled, but he always stayed up all night gaming without eating or drinking. Zhufu thought he was just a rebellious younger girl, so she was always reminding her: “Study hard, eat well, and get plenty of sleep.” She didn't know that the person on the other side of the screen, Chu Jiashu, was about to start his final year of high school and had grown up in an empty home. In a youth without his parents, her reminders were the only light. They pulled him out of the mire of self-destruction, and catching up to her became the first goal of his life. Zhufu headed off to Nanda with her acceptance letter. Her face blindness helped her adapt quickly to her new surroundings. Whenever she logged on, she would simply remind her: “Study hard, eat well, and get plenty of sleep. I'll be waiting to welcome you to Nanda.” One year later! Chu Jiashu stood in front of her with an acceptance letter to the same university. He saved her a seat at the library she often visited, and sat beside her when they ate in the cafeteria... But when she looked at his face, all he ever saw in her eyes was polite unfamiliarity. So he began creating one coincidence after another. He deliberately bumped into her as she left the library, made an excuse to return her notes in class, and deliberately waited in a puddle during a downpour so he could rescue her... He tried everything to make her notice him. “Thanks, junior.” “Have we met before, junior?” Chu Jiashu's Adam's apple bobbed. It turned out the road from the game to real life was far longer than he'd imagined.
