From the end of the Yuan Dynasty to the first year of the Zheng Dynasty, the world was in chaos, and the Red Turban Army uprising swept across the Central Plains. Zhu Yuanzhang raised troops in Haozhou, gradually integrated his forces, and competed with separatist forces such as Chen Youliang and Zhang Shicheng for the world. The remnants of the Bei Yuan Dynasty in the north were eyeing them, and the borders were repeatedly plundered. After the founding of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang ascended the throne and proclaimed himself emperor, and Prince Zhu Biao supervised the country.
