This Auxiliary Police Officer Is Fearless

Jiang Chen, a former street thug, has only ever wanted to coast through life until he meets Liang Xinyue, a policewoman whose fearless figure beneath a criminal’s knife lights up his lazy, aimless existence.

Determined to win her heart, he turns over a new leaf and dives headfirst into the Chengnan Police Station, becoming a low-ranking auxiliary officer.

But ideals are rosy, while reality is harsh.

The job is nothing like the “put on a uniform and look cool” fantasy he had imagined:

He mediates arguments between market aunties, only to be “taught a lesson” with vegetables;

He goes on patrol with a senior officer and nearly handcuffs himself to a suspect’s motorcycle;

And the policewoman he secretly adores seems to see him as nothing more than “a very enthusiastic rookie”...

Between his coworkers’ doubts, the drudgery of the job, and the indifferent attention of the woman he loves, Jiang Chen’s life as an auxiliary officer is a chaotic parade of mishaps and laughs.

What he doesn’t realize is that his unique streetwise experience and impulsive, unconventional sincerity keep resolving tricky disputes, while little by little, they also open Liang Xinyue’s heart.

This is a story about growing up, protecting others, and a pure, secret crush. Follow former street thug Jiang Chen as he pushes forward through the everyday chaos of auxiliary police work, and ultimately finds success in both his career and love life!
