A New Heaven for Water Margin: My Fate Is in My Own Hands

Your protagonist is a young scholar specializing in Song dynasty history, or an engineer with an encyclopedic knowledge of ancient military technology. After transmigrating, the protagonist must quickly establish authority by drawing on their “foreknowledge” of the future, such as cleverly revealing a hero's hidden secrets or an impending disaster, and their understanding of historical institutions. They should reshape the Liangshan army by adopting later military organization, training methods, and systems for awarding rank based on military achievements. Economically, they can open overseas trade routes, using the Liangshan Marsh navy to trade with Goryeo and Japan, for example, and bring Liangshan a steady stream of wealth.
