After the Lie-Flat Saniwa Picks Up a Lazy Sword

A lazy Saniwa picks up a lazy treasure from the start.

The Saniwa codenamed “Qingyun” is actually a podocarpus bamboo, and his one guiding principle in life is a single word: lazy. While out for a stroll, he accidentally falls into a Honmaru so dilapidated it’s practically rubble. Too lazy to investigate, he turns into a bamboo plant right where he is and lies flat to cultivate.

As it happens, his spiritual energy is so soothing that he accidentally “hooks” and awakens the nearest person: Akashi Kuniyuki, a sword who’s just as incredibly lazy.

From then on, the abandoned Honmaru’s whole vibe changes. The Saniwa spends every day figuring out how to sunbathe in greater comfort, while his number-one “employee,” Akashi, devotes himself to slacking off as much as possible.
