Siheyuan: The Traveler Escaping Hunger

A cautious old fox, with only one female lead (though there may be more than one woman in the story)!

The story begins in 1937. The protagonist transmigrates into the body of Jiang Gensheng, a refugee fleeing famine.

He follows the army through campaigns across the country, then eventually settles in a courtyard compound.

That’s where the story really begins!!!

(Note: This story is entirely fictional, so don’t take it too seriously! Best to put your brain away before reading~~~!

The locations are based on real places, but don’t try to match them up with actual people or events!)
