Gui Lan, once a poet from the old star, is now wandering in the ruins of the boundless universe. Carrying a broken chip carrying the memory of her homeland, she led a group of interstellar refugees through the shattered star rings and forgotten spaces. They were not looking for a new home, but trying to recover fragments of a lost civilization from every floating wreckage. Gui Lan's motivation is not survival instinct, but her obsession with "belonging" - she believes that wandering is meaningful as long as her memory remains. When hope gradually dwindles and the faith and doubts in the team intertwine, Guilan must choose between the group's despair and personal questioning: whether to continue to piece together the lost hometown in the ruins of the universe, or to let go of everything and admit that wandering itself is the ultimate destination. The story uses poetic narration to describe the glimmer of light in the sea of stars, and explores how humanity and civilization reinvent themselves during the homeless journey.
