On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, the gates of the underworld open. I was born in a flimsy coffin in a mass grave, with the fated curse of a Qilin that means I won't live past twenty-three.
To save me, my grandfather destroyed his own eyes and defied fate. Before he died, he forced me to descend the mountain and fulfill a marriage arrangement with a wealthy family.
When I first arrived in Haizhou, everyone looked down on me as a country bumpkin and the useless live-in son-in-law of the Su family.
Little did they know I possessed the Book of Sixteen-Character Yin-Yang Feng Shui Secrets and carried the true blood of a Qilin!
One glance was all it took to see through a feng shui killing trap worth billions. One finger was all it took to uncover the mechanisms of a thousand-year-old tomb!
Since you won't give me a way to live, I'll use my skills to fight my way through this bizarre city and the underworld beneath it!
The Thirteen Gates of the Underworld? I'll break through!
The Demon Capital of the Queen Mother of the West? I'll charge in!
Watch Ye Tian tread the line between yin and yang and command the universe, as he joins his brothers and beloved women to uncover the ultimate secret of this world!
It's ok, just average.
