A-chan was bewildered. Then she gradually figured everything out. Then she got excited.
Awesome! She remembered that Japanese middle schoolers got out at three in the afternoon! An anime like Reborn!, where hardly anyone dies throughout the whole story, was practically her dream show! She could finally live a wonderful, carefree life!
As she celebrated her lightning-fast reincarnation, a guy with a face like a checkerboard suddenly appeared. Without even asking, he gave her a golden finger and announced that she could use the template of her own Call of Cthulhu character to live in this world.
A Call of Cthulhu character template? That sounded great! As a devoted tabletop gamer, A-chan had raised every stat to an absurd level. Her character also had the looks and Intelligence (Idea) that A-chan had maxed out in her youth, when she was full of herself.
But A-chan's Call of Cthulhu character... not only had the ridiculous pun of a name, Hanazaki Rin, but also a Sanity score of 10 that would leave anyone speechless!
Yeah, she was the sort who might suddenly drop to her knees in the middle of the street, raise both hands, and start singing hymns to the Old Ones. A regular at the psychiatric hospital.
Hanazaki Rin: What? Wait, no! Anything but that!
Resistance was futile. Freshly equipped with her new character template, Hanazaki Rin was kicked into the world by the checkerboard-faced guy and began her delicious new life as a complete lunatic.
