Chronicles of Slaying the Hundred Ghosts

Beyond the Three Realms and Six Paths lies the “Infernal Prison Domain,” a place where ancient fiends and evil spirits are held in check. The protagonist, Chen Nan, is a modern young man who accidentally falls to his death and mistakenly enters the Eighteen Levels of Hell. Because of his unusual constitution, he is chosen by a thousand-year-old Ghost Sage and receives the cultivation art Hundred Ghosts Slash, beginning an unorthodox journey of “slaying ghosts, breaking formations, and slaughtering gods.” The story combines explorations of hell, immortal cultivation, and Eastern mythology, with an emphasis on the brutal law of “using evil to suppress evil, and killing to stop killing.”
