Three Kingdoms: The Ambitions of Emperor Wu of Wei

Transmigrator Cao Zheng arrives in the late Han Dynasty with a mysterious bronze sword and helps Cao Cao launch an era-defying campaign for supremacy. Starting out in Yan Province, he uses knowledge far ahead of its time to establish a craftsman's camp, produce steel in blast furnaces, and revolutionize weaponry. He implements the tuntian farming system to secure their foundations, and even establishes battlefield hospitals where alcohol is used for disinfection, saving countless soldiers' lives.

On campaign, he rescues the talented Cai Yan, takes the wise and brave Diao Chan as a wife, and falls in love on the battlefield with Lu Lingqi, Lu Bu's daughter. With strategists such as Guo Jia, Xun Yu, and Jia Xu directing operations, and the Five Elite Generals leading the charge, Cao Zheng's technology becomes the key to victory: improved repeating crossbows control the battlefield, thunderclap bombs strike fear into the enemy, and Mo Dao formations stand firm against cavalry. In the end, red-coat cannons blast open the road to unifying the realm.

With Cao Zheng's assistance, Cao Cao ascends the throne as Emperor Wu of Wei eight years ahead of schedule. Cao Zheng is ennobled as Duke of Zhen Guo and shares the honor with his three wives. Once the realm is at peace, he promotes the imperial examinations, compiles a code of law, and builds clinics throughout the land, laying the foundations for a golden age. After Cao Cao's death, Cao Zheng helps Cao Pi succeed smoothly, then retires at the height of his success, taking his sword into seclusion. He becomes one with the fate of the nation, a legend that will never fade.
