One Piece: Eiichiro Oda Reborn

[Starts out sailing with the Straw Hat Pirates] [Features an island of his own] [Friendship only, no romance] [Pirate manga style] [No System] [Paper-Paper Fruit] [Pure Devil Fruit development] [Relies entirely on his own training] [Not invincible] [Doesn't overshadow Luffy's big moments]

Oda, a corporate drudge in a parallel world where no one ever created Pirate King, accidentally transmigrates into Pirate King. He strays from the North Blue into the East Blue, seizes the Paper-Paper Fruit from pirates, and is forced into hiding from the Marines. Teaming up with Luffy, he breaks through the combined pirate forces led by Captain Nezumi in District 16.

And so begins his own journey as a pirate.

(Oda, the corporate drudge, is like all of us barely surviving in the mire of reality. This is a story about ordinary people like us pursuing our dreams.)
