As a panda cub, Xiong Susu once had only three things in life:
Take good care of her mountain, eat the freshest bamboo shoots, and stay by her parents’ side, living off them until the end of her days.
But after she met those dark eyes, calm as an ancient pool, she could never forget them.
By a twist of fate, she became entangled with that graceful, radiant man. The naive cub, newly arrived in the human world, began to develop feelings and even wanted to explore the deepest secrets of his heart.

As the last dragon in the Xia Kingdom, Qi Sheng had lived far too long. He had no family or lover, and felt no attachment to anything in this world.
Until he met that panda cub. A man who had never had a reason to stay alive suddenly wanted to keep living, if only to spend a lifetime by her side.
But the cub always rejected him. She would give him a coquettish slap, then tell him to get lost.
One day, Qi Sheng angered her again. Even the freshest bamboo shoots couldn’t appease her, and when he heard her say “divorce,” he completely fell apart.
He coaxed her again and again, carefully drawing her into his arms, apologizing softly and promising it would never happen again.
Nestled in someone’s arms, Xiong Susu lifted her little face and made him give in: “Then promise me you’ll have a baby!”
“I can’t promise that.”
“Then we’re getting divorced.”
“That’s even more impossible.”
“Then go die.” Xiong Susu was making a fuss again.
So Qi Sheng had no choice but to coax her once more, trying to explain that he wasn’t refusing to have a baby because he didn’t love her.
It was just that a panda and a dragon couldn’t have a baby together, could they?
