At the beginning of the school year at Southern Seaside University, Su Wan, a shy but sensitive freshman in the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, accidentally knocked over the experimental equipment of Lu Xingci, a top student in the Department of Computer Science, on the day of registration. The two were forced to leave their contact information due to a "compensation dispute." Su Wan accidentally joined the campus radio station where Lu Xingci served as a technical consultant and became a copy editor. After getting along day and night, Su Wan discovered that Lu Xingci was not as cold as he appeared, but was actually attentive and considerate (remembering her food allergies and silently helping her solve computer problems). Lu Xingci was also attracted by Su Wan's gentleness, talent (the radio scripts he wrote cured countless classmates) and his occasional confusion.
