Li Lianhua, poisoned by the Bicha toxin and with little time left to live, falls from a snowy cliff. By chance, he tears through space and time and lands in an unfamiliar cultivation world. Just then, Lan Xichen, the head of the Gusu Lan Clan, is surrounded by enemies. Li Lianhua’s sudden arrival accidentally breaks the deadly trap.
Thus begins a story of two people saving each other across worlds. A noble gentleman who bears the secrets of this world’s origin, and a wise, worldly traveling physician, forge an unbreakable bond of trust and affection as they repeatedly flee for their lives. Together, they explore secret realms and eliminate the deadly poison, and, with the Heavenly Dao as their witness, become cultivation partners.
In this storm-tossed demonic cultivation world, they join old friends Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. With extraordinary wisdom and fresh ideas that combine the best of both worlds, they dispel rumors, clear wrongs, end the war, and guide the world through its ascension, earning complete merit.
But Li Lianhua’s karmic ties are not yet fully resolved. The passage to his homeland opens once more, and he returns to the world of the Lotus Tower with Lan Xichen and the deeply connected pair, Wangji and Wuxian. Old friends reunite, and the Divine Physician’s name once again shakes the martial world. Meanwhile, the Nanyin restoration plot lurking behind the scenes and the truth about his senior brother Shan Gudao’s “fake death” quietly come to light.
Lan Xichen and Li Lianhua are a perfect match 🤭🤭
