The God of Cooking Comes Out of Retirement After Three Years to Set the Food Industry Straight

My name is Wang Yan, a former head chef at state banquets and winner of the Golden Chef Award. After three years of retirement, I bound myself to the Gourmet Heritage System. Its mission: set the record straight. So I returned to the scene, starting with a review of a viral dumpling shop. Dressed in a long gown, I looked like someone who had transmigrated into this world, and everyone took me for a weirdo. But through the camera of viral streamer Su Xiao, the owner bowed to me at a right angle, brought out his family’s dining table, and served more than thirty plates of dumplings. I barely tapped them with my chopsticks. Without even tasting them, I named every filling. The livestream chat exploded: “Is he a human ultrasound machine?!” One word of advice turned mediocre dumplings into juicy works of art, and the whole internet went wild trying to get them. My account, “Guardian of State Banquets,” went viral overnight. Next stop: the Michelin-starred restaurant Fragrant House. When head chef Zhao Deyou saw my announcement, his legs gave way and he fell to the floor. Before I even arrived, wealthy patrons had flooded the reservation line. One person offered a million just to buy a spot for my review. I said calmly, “When reviewing a restaurant, you have to catch them completely off guard.” While viral food influencers were still faking praise and criticism, misleading viewers with scripted content, I was already using a pair of chopsticks to measure the truth about food. From street stalls to top-tier restaurants, if I say it’s good, then it’s truly good. If I say it’s no good, the head chef will get down on his knees and beg me to take him as a disciple! But no one knows that the little assistant by my side is actually a national goddess who left show business. And her father, a trillionaire CEO, is flying in to meet me tomorrow... Watch as a legendary chef uses food as his yardstick to set the chaotic world of viral restaurant reviews straight!
