Ballad of the Snowlands: The Spirit Binder and His Half-Demon Sword Servant

Gu Qingyan and his half-demon sword attendant Bailu investigate the mysterious case of “the remnants of the Snow Wolf Clan committing crimes.” At the scene, however, they discover a fragment of the Hidden Sword Pavilion’s black iron token, forcing Gu Qingyan to choose between “protecting the sect” and “uncovering the truth” for the first time. Later, Bailu triggers a vision of a broken sword and learns that the Gu family’s ancestors were involved in the Snow Wolf Clan’s extermination, leaving her torn between “avenging her family” and “protecting her beloved.” During the sect tournament, Bailu is forced to reveal her demon form. Gu Qingyan exposes the truth buried for a century in front of everyone. Together, using the power of their spirit pact to guide the spiritual energy of the earth’s veins, they clear the Snow Wolf Clan’s name and protect the people, ultimately breaking the chains of fate and guarding Kunlun together. Their story embodies the belief that “good and evil have nothing to do with one’s species; protection is the heart of it all.”
