This is a collection of stories inspired by the Sami roguelike mode in Arknights. The work is divided into two parts:

The Sami Expedition Records is a series of short stories in varied styles, told mainly from the perspective of unfamiliar explorers and modeled on the in-game story collection. Inspired by the names and descriptions of Sami roguelike stages, it will be serialized according to the roguelike's stage progression.

Black Hole Protocol: Background Events is a sidestory-style novella or novel told mainly from the perspectives of Rhodes Island and the Doctor. It explores how international changes and political developments shape and advance Sami exploration, and will appear after the short story for each roguelike stage has been completed.

The Sami Expedition Records and Black Hole Protocol: Background Events are not entirely separate. Their hidden and overt storylines influence each other, with clues and foreshadowing woven between the events.
