Great Ming: Zhu Yuanzhang Is Stunned When I Put My Clan Up as Collateral from the Start

[Ming Dynasty History + Eldest Imperial Grandson + Comedy + System + Schemer]

In the tenth year of Hongwu, on the banks of the Qinhuai River.

An elder of the White Lotus Sect stopped a young man. “Young master, I can see you have the bearing of an emperor! Join our holy sect, and I’ll lend you a hundred thousand death-defying soldiers to raise an army. Once you succeed, you can give me half the empire. What do you say?”

Su Chen, an imperial grandson living among the common people, silently brought up his System panel and showed it to the man.

[Great Ming Dynasty Fortune System Warning!]

[The “Fortune of the Imperial Grandson” you borrowed from your creditor, “Zhu Yuanzhang,” is overdue!]

[Penalty for default: flaying and stuffing, and extermination of your nine familial generations!]

[Current collateral: your immediate family members (father Zhu Biao, grandfather Zhu Yuanzhang, grandmother Empress Ma).]

The White Lotus elder stared at the words “extermination of your nine familial generations,” his fingers trembling violently. “I-I’m sorry to bother you... If all nine generations are wiped out, I’ll be gone too...”

Su Chen transmigrated to the Great Ming and became Zhu Biao’s illegitimate son, lost to the outside world.

After awakening the [Strongest Debt System], all he had to do was dare to borrow against the fortune of the Great Ming to grow infinitely stronger!

No money? Borrow from Old Zhu’s imperial treasury! No soldiers? Borrow Lan Yu’s adopted sons!

As for paying it back?

Su Chen looked calmly at Zhu Yuanzhang, who had come calling with murder in his eyes. “Grandpa, surely you don’t want your own grandson to be erased by the System for failing to repay his debts?”

Zhu Yuanzhang gritted his teeth. “Carry out my decree! Empty the imperial treasury and give it all to him! Anyone who dares let him die will be flayed alive by me!!”
