Eleven-year-old orphan Carl and pure-blood wizard Chris exchanged souls due to an ancient curse in an accident.
When he woke up, Carl had everything he had ever dreamed of: family, fame, friends, and the focused gaze of Tom Grayson. The first second the Hufflepuff boy met his eyes, it was as if he had determined his fate.
In his stolen life, Carl tasted love and warmth for the first time, but he also shouldered the shackles of a thief. Until he discovered that the price of this feast of souls was the rapid withering of another life.
Should he continue to occupy this life that should not belong to him, or should he risk everything he has at the moment to save the soul that has endured all the hurt for him?
When the truth is revealed and all the disguises fade away, will the look in Tom's eyes remain the same as before?
This book borrows the background setting of Harry Potter (for the children's generation, about 2001), and it is a novella! This story is the brainchild of my 19-year-old dream. There may be OOC. The three male protagonists are all original creations. They only borrowed the world view and did not have too much contact with the original characters.
