Please, If You Have a Crush on Me, Just Say So

Li Sijia is beautiful and gets excellent grades. She’s the acknowledged sweetheart of Qinghe High School.

But lately, something has been bothering her.

It all started with Yu Yu, the student athlete. Ever since Yu Yu’s basketball “murdered” her drawing board, they’ve been popping up everywhere in her life.

A “chance encounter” in the stairwell, “sharing a table” in the cafeteria, and even a post-school apology milk tea with an absurd number of toppings.

Everyone says Yu Yu is cheerful and outgoing, with lots of friends, but Li Sijia can’t help thinking there’s something… unusually bright about the way Yu Yu looks at her.

Then, shortly before graduation, she accidentally finds a map of China in Yu Yu’s textbook, covered in tiny marks. A neat little note is written beside it:

[Secret Crush Route Map: Planning a future with her in every place.]

Looking at the map and seeing every dream city she’s ever casually mentioned, Li Sijia finally loses patience. She turns around and slaps it in front of Yu Yu.

“Yu Yu, could you please get a clue?”

Yu Yu’s face instantly turns deathly pale, but then she sees Li Sijia’s eyes turn red and hears her complain:

“You’ve had a crush on me this long. Couldn’t you just be direct? I’m almost graduating from waiting!”
