Reborn as Daiyu: A Princess from the Start, Saving the Nation with Poetry

[Lin Daiyu is reborn and binds to the Civilization Heritage System from the start]

Lin Daiyu dies after shedding all her tears. When she opens her eyes again, she has become Princess Wen'an, a title personally bestowed by the emperor.

The poems she burned in her previous life are now revered by an enemy nation as “cursed verses that doomed a dynasty,” and are being used to shatter the morale of my frontier troops!

The court calls her “a hen crowing at dawn,” while the barbarians mock us, saying our cultural heritage is dead.

And in three months, the “battle of words to decide life or death” will determine the fate of the nation!

Daiyu smiles. How dull to fight and kill; why not compete by writing poetry instead?

She opens a library, starts a newspaper, and gathers impoverished scholars. She prints “Song of Burying the Flowers” as military rations and uses “Poems on a Handkerchief” to turn an enemy general to her side.

[At her first palace banquet, three poems drive the barbarian delegation away]

[In a debate at court, one policy essay makes the chancellor resign]

[From atop the city walls, a single volume of her poetry sends a hundred thousand enemy troops fleeing, armor and helmets abandoned]

Later, the history books record: Princess Wen'an never raised a sword in her life. With nothing but a volume of “Supplemental Records of the Jade Grove,” she continued China’s thousand-year cultural legacy.

The enemy nation’s God of War kneels and offers up his sword: “Princess, your poems are sharper than my blade.”

[Reborn heroine + saving the nation through poetry + cultural supremacy]
