Doomsday: I Charge Straight In

The apocalypse is here. Don't trust your eyes, and don't trust your family either.

Zombies aren't the scariest thing. The scariest are the “fake people” who can perfectly imitate your loved ones and brothers in arms. The water they offer with a smile will turn you into a monster while you savor its sweetness.

I sawed open the monster pretending to be my older brother with my own hands. I survived.

The price was becoming the base's most necessary “weapon”: an aberration living in symbiosis with monsters, using the chainsaw on my right arm to carve a path for humanity.

But I gradually discovered that inside the fortress walls was something even more terrifying than the fake people outside.

A sweet fungal growth known as “the Gift” was quietly transforming survivors into mindless “desserts” through every drop of purified water. The guardians of order were the true source of the apocalypse.

When the land is covered in white fungal threads, and trust becomes the deadliest poison,

I will tear apart this sweet hell with my inhuman body.

We fight not to reclaim the old world, but to prove that even in hell, we are still human.

(A fake-people apocalypse + dark human nature + extreme survival. No saintly protagonist, ruthless and decisive. Experience the harshest truths and struggles after civilization collapses.)
