The Day I Was Born, I Was Betrothed to the Female Ghost Emperor!

Grandpa said that on the day I was born, lightning split the sky, strange signs appeared, and all the ghosts wailed.

Grandpa brought the village shaman over himself to deliver me. That was the only way I made it into the world.

The shaman said I was born with a yin fate, blessed by the Ghost Emperor, and that when I turned eighteen, I would have to marry her.

Ever since I was old enough to remember, I’ve been able to see the dead.

I also keep having a dream about a woman in a red robe, smiling as she tells me to hurry up and marry her.

My family worships this Ghost Empress.

Grandpa makes me burn incense for her every day, and at night I have to sleep with her spirit tablet in my arms.

When I turned eighteen, on the night of the Ghost Festival, I married the female Ghost Emperor.

After that, I went on living a normal life, but all kinds of strange things kept happening...
