Through the experiences of Tian Li's family, this story shows the ups and downs of the small third-line military factory in the 1980s in the changing times. During the adaptation process, historical data on small third-tier factories were consulted. These factories were once "small societies" built in the mountains based on war preparation considerations, and subsequently underwent transformation and relocation in the wave of reform and opening up.
