[Transmigrating into a book + farming + strong heroine + adored by all + raising children + fleeing famine + robbing the rich to help the poor + supernatural abilities + invincible]
Gu Nianqiu transmigrates into the body of the wicked stepmother everyone talks about. The original owner was lazy, greedy, and vain, and even had an old flame in the neighboring village.
Just after Gu Nianqiu transmigrates, she walks in on the original owner's plan to elope with her old flame and murder her stepson.
The plan would have been foolproof, if only Gu Nianqiu were actually the original owner. She not only changes her old ways completely, but also beats the old flame and sends him packing.
In the end, she even takes in the two children of her missing older sister. Just as life starts getting better, disaster strikes, and the whole family is forced to flee.
