Chronicle of the Ruins

There is a periodic catastrophe called "Guixu" between heaven and earth. Every time Guixu comes, a glorious era will be buried, turning everything into "ruins" of nothingness and death. Only a few selected "fire seeds" carry the imprint of civilization from the previous era and wait in the ashes for the resurrection of the next era. However, the protagonist gradually discovers that the so-called "return to the ruins" is not a natural disaster, but a more cruel "harvest" and "captivity" targeting humans and all spirits. The world he lives in is nothing more than a "ruin cage" planned by higher-level beings.
