Well, if you pursue perfection and conform to the original game, then there is indeed a problem, but when it comes to novels and secondary creations, you shouldn't think too hard. If it's well written, just read it and it's over. The general feeling is that it has nothing to do with the original game plot, which is reasonable. Some of the previous plots have been briefly mentioned, which is to roughly explain the origin. After all, all the members are yandere at the beginning, and then there is a bit of separation between the characters, so it is better to briefly explain it first.
