Please Call Me the Sword Immortal of Yore

The people say, “Long live the people.” This is the People’s Law.

Born from the mortal world and fallen into the land of the old days, Qi Zhizhen, a woman of the new world, plunged into the remnants of the old days in the hope of writing a law of her own. She sought only to complete the People’s Law, write a second law for the people, and secure their interests.

The old days are gone, and the new world stands at the threshold.

The new laws ushered in a brilliant age. Of the ten realms beneath heaven, nine follow the new laws, with the Law of Truth standing above the rest: whatever I say is truth, and all things in this world must bow before my truth…

The young Guanshan lived through the first three thousand years of the new world. He dwelled in the only remaining fragment of the old days, a place cut off from heaven and earth, where no one knew the outside world and all they knew was the old days.

The turning point began with Guanshan. The remnants of the old days would eventually emerge into the world, and Guanshan wanted to go out and discover the source of the obsession in his heart, see where the fallen Sword Immortal had ended up, and seek out the one he longed for…

Huan Wuhai:

“The new world… peace of mind, a tranquil life, spreading the Dao throughout the land and bringing blessings to tens of millions. No climbing the steps, no ascending to words of morning dew… Let it all vanish, completely and utterly…”

The old man looked at Huan Wuhai:

“One hundred and eight people. Everything is in my hands. With the slightest movement of my finger, they will all perish in the snowy wasteland, inspiring fear in tens of millions.”

The two looked at each other, laughed together, and reveled in the moment:

“Then the ten realms beneath heaven will know that the old saints are not dead, that revenge has come, and that truth is not truth.”

“The truth of all the people under heaven will also be denied… and so-called declarations of truth will cease to exist…”
