The Twin-Star Detectives' Legendary Cases

The criminal investigation team has a pair widely hailed as a match made in heaven: Su Lin is as cold as a blade and a profiling genius; Jiang Che is as gentle as water and an interrogation expert. After three years working together, they have solved every case, earning the nickname “the Twin Stars of the police force.”

No one knows that Su Lin’s inspiration for her profiles comes from empathizing with the souls of the dead, while Jiang Che’s confidence in interrogations comes from his ability to hear murderers’ thoughts. At the scene of every blood-moon cold case, they wordlessly piece together the truth. And late at night, side by side, they hold each other back from losing control: she is the anchor that keeps the dark thoughts from reaching his ears, and he is the light that reveals the spirits of the dead in her eyes.

When a string of murders tied to their shared past comes to light, they must protect their secrets while reclaiming the one light that belongs to them, walking the razor’s edge between trust and betrayal.
