Village Beauty Zhao Guihua's Road to Becoming a Nanny

Set up by her own brother, village beauty Zhao Guihua is forced to marry a shameless rogue with a bald head. Beatings and abuse from her in-laws become part of her married life. Clinging to the old belief that a woman must follow her husband no matter what, she endures in silence. Only after she finds an abandoned child does Zhao Guihua finally flee with the baby from that murderous village, driven to desperation by yet another beating.

Zhao Guihua collapses from hunger in the cold wind and is brought back to the military base by soldiers returning from a mission. By a twist of fate, she becomes the nursemaid to the injured commander, Lu Jinghan. She is used to hard labor, but whenever this taciturn man brings her a hot meal, her eyes grow wet. He respects her, admires her, teaches her, and keeps her company as she studies.

One is a village beauty worn down by hardship, the other an injured commander with an unyielding spirit. Their story begins.
