Lin Fu, a graduate student in the Department of Modern History, was transported to the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty in an accident, which coincided with Cao Cao's defeat in the war against Dong and was trapped among the jujube coalition forces. Without the blessing of golden fingers or the assistance of the system, he only relied on the solid historical context and modern thinking in his mind to survive step by step in troubled times.
He offered suggestions to resolve the siege of jujube, and won Cao Cao's initial trust with the method of dispatching grain and grass; before the battle of Guandu, he urged Cao Cao to guard Wuchao, and exposed the serial schemes of Yuan Shao's counselors; on the eve of Red Cliff, he bluntly gave advice based on the pros and cons of Jiang defense. Although he failed to completely reverse the situation of the war, he retained the core combat strength of Cao's army.
Internally, he promoted the policy of farmland reform, rectified official administration, and balanced the interests of the nobility and poor families; externally, he assisted Cao Cao in strategizing, dividing and disintegrating the alliance of princes, and accurately predicting war opportunities. Faced with Cao Cao's suspicion and the infighting within the camp, Lin Fu defended himself with wisdom and sincerity, and finally assisted Cao Wei in defeating Wu and Shu in decades, ending the troubled times and unifying the world, allowing the people to escape the war and restore peace.
