In the second semester of his sophomore year in a closed key high school, the arrival of transfer student Jiang Xu broke the peace of the class. He was arranged to sit next to Lin Wei and became her deskmate. The sunny and outgoing Lin Wei tried to get along with the cold and lonely Jiang Xu, but repeatedly ran into obstacles. But during their time at the same table day after day, Lin Wei discovered the tenderness behind Jiang Xu's cold face - helping her pick up the dropped pen, gently waking her up when she was sleepy, and silently sharing scarce review materials with her. Lin Wei gradually fell in love with this "iceberg roommate" and hid this secret love in his notebook, but did not dare to reveal it because of his low self-esteem.
As the senior year of high school approaches the college entrance examination, study pressure increases sharply. An accidental misunderstanding (Lin Wei catches Jiang Xu discussing a competition with a girl with excellent grades and mistakenly thinks he has someone he likes; Jiang Xu sees Lin Wei laughing with his childhood sweetheart and thinks she already has a crush) creates a gap between the two. The day before the college entrance examination, Lin Wei mustered up the courage to write a confession letter, but before submitting it, he saw Jiang Xu being picked up by his family and mistakenly thought that he left school early and gave up on saying goodbye. Before leaving, Jiang Xu placed the prepared blessings and mints in the hole in Lin Wei's desk, but did not dare to leave his name.
After the college entrance examination, the two broke off contact. Lin Wei was admitted to the local normal university, and occasionally dug out the unsent confession letter; Jiang Xu was admitted to the top university in the north with excellent results, and later became a well-known architectural designer and became famous at a young age. Five years later, at an educational charity event, Lin Wei, now a junior high school teacher, reunited with Jiang Xu, who was a guest at the event. Time has faded away the youthful youth, but it has not diluted the obsession in my heart. The two were testing and pulling again and again.
It's a mess, and it's totally wrong.
