The Blade’s Path in Paradise: Chronicles of a Shadowblade’s Frenzied Battles
[Paradise System + Assassin Madman + Cross-World Assassinations + Bare-Handed Berserker]
In Dawn Paradise, Xiao Shan is a ruthless madman who hides in the shadows and kills with poison. When assassinating his targets, he draws “Night Eater: Sealed Poison.” He slips into poisonous mist-filled mine tunnels, inhaling the toxic fog as his blade flashes through his enemies’ throats. When it is time to go berserk, he puts away his blade and tears into his foes with his bare hands, drenched in blood and lost in the thrill of slaughter.
His Poison Shadow Badge conceals coded messages, while cave totems hint at clues spanning worlds. Beastmen shatter rock and dragonkin burn away miasma to aid him. He feeds star cores to his pets and uses sacred ingredients to force breakthroughs, leaving other Contractors stunned. But every breakthrough comes at the cost of a setback, and each step brings him to the brink of life and death.
A conspiracy lurks on a lonely island in the dark sea. The badge draws him into a struggle between factions, but he recognizes only the path of slaughter: “Hide the blade in the shadows and kill. Put it away and fight barehanded. Let poison seep into your claws, and kill until you go mad.” From the mine tunnels to the myriad heavens, this shadowblade’s killing spree has only just begun.
