Immortal Covenant

Urban Superpowers. The second job of a northeastern boss is acting as a spirit medium... Billionaire businessman Xiao Xunwei goes bankrupt overnight and finds himself 80 million yuan in debt. Just as he is about to take his own life in desperation, a mysterious force saves him. He awakens an immortal destiny spanning a thousand years and becomes the heir to a spirit medium’s shrine in Northeast China. Bringing a businessman's mindset to the world of metaphysics, he transforms the ancient Zhuyou healing arts into “remedies to save the world,” using talismans to drive out evil and good deeds to build his foundation. Behind the string of bizarre illnesses in Xiangping City lurks the vicious Soul-Devouring Fiend. Deep inside an abandoned factory, a sorcerer’s scheme stirs the spiritual energies of the Three Realms. From ritual duels at makeshift altars to working with the police on special cases, from repairing the earth’s ley lines to investigating crimes in the Underworld, he joins forces with the Hu, Huang, Chang, and Mang immortal clans to unravel the mysteries of evil in the shadows of the city. But he soon discovers that his bankruptcy was part of a deadly plot targeting his immortal destiny. When the wisdom of the business world collides with the arcane arts, and the bustle of everyday life intertwines with the uncanny machinations of the Three Realms, this pact with the immortals, forged over a thousand years ago, will finally write a legendary tale of urban cultivation and defying fate.
