Demon Slayer: I Am Muzan's Other Side

Everyone has a soul: one called good, one called evil, and one called thought. Offer your body as a sacrifice, and with outside assistance, you can summon them.

Trapped in utter despair, I wanted nothing more than to kill him. But I couldn’t. I wasn’t allowed to.

I know every one of you is wrong, but so what? What can I do about it?

Last time, I chose to stand against you. This time, I’ll protect you without hesitation.

That person is “me,” and yet not me.

“What does life mean to you?” Yoriichi demanded of the white-haired young man shielding Muzan. The young man only tilted his head.

“How could this happen?”

“Shan Yan, what are you doing!”

“Am I a human soul? Is that why you’re all protecting me?”

“Shan and Nian can both die. You’re the only one who must not die.”

The protagonist is completely evil and will protect Muzan. He’s definitely going to die, so don’t worry.

OOC warning.
