Lord of the Netherworld

I was once the Underworld’s hardest-working employee, the top performer, feared by every ghost.

But after working nonstop for a thousand years, I died of overwork in front of the Three Lives Stone.

When I opened my eyes again, I had become a sickly young nobleman in the mortal world.

I planned to take it easy and enjoy my retirement, but then a hundred ghosts went on a rampage through the capital at midnight, terrifying the city’s royal relatives and nobles into wetting themselves.

With a sigh, I took out my long-sealed Soul-Locking Chain.

“Looks like it’s time to give the ghosts of the mortal world a refresher on the Underworld’s KPI assessments.”
