First of all, the comment section has been talking about the problem that the male protagonist in NieR: Automata is too squishy. This feeling is unavoidable. You are a newbie at the beginning and have very few points. Automata is full of robots. It is normal for the male protagonist to be a bit squishy. However, it gets better later in Resident Evil.
