The Villainess Awakens and Drives the Regent Wild

In my previous life, I was a vicious supporting female character who couldn't survive past three chapters. I was infatuated with a scumbag, jealous of a sweet, innocent girl, and drained of my heart's blood by my family as a bargaining chip. I died miserably on a freezing winter street.

After a high fever awakened my memories of the plot, I tore my lovesick brain to shreds. I kicked the blind scumbag Xiao Yu, tore apart the hypocritical Su Lian'er, stole the female lead's opportunities, and trampled my cold-hearted family underfoot. Anyone who messes with me will be begging for mercy!

I planned to carve a path through the plot and build my career, but Zhang Jingchen, the regent who held power over the court, clung to me:

He gripped my wrist, his eyes full of temptation. "A vicious supporting character? I think you're more to my taste than anyone."

I brushed his hand away. "Regent, please move. You're in the way of my career."

But he leaned even closer, the scent of dragon's saliva incense surrounding his low laugh. "Count me in on your career. The power is yours, and so am I. Please bind me to you as an ally."

From then on, at court, I tore down the villains while he backed me up. In private, he flirted with me while I put on a tough front, my ears turning red.

The world called me a viper, but he shielded me behind him. "She's mine. No one else gets to judge her."

I was tearing through my career like a madwoman, and he was going mad from my flirting. Regent, what happened to being allies? Why are you insisting that we rule the realm together?
