Six months ago, countless meteors fell upon Blue Star, bringing creatures never seen before: Pokemon. Panic swept across Shenzhou, and conflict between humans and Pokemon seemed inevitable.
Amid the chaos, a mysterious merchant named Lu Jing quietly rose to prominence. He founded the Blue Sky, Clear Waters Corporation and sent three impeccably dressed “sons” into the spotlight: the cold-blooded CFO Lu E, the gentle science host Lu Xi, and Lu Xu, forced into the life of a corporate drone. Yet his true identity, unknown to all, was none other than Arceus, the former Creator God who had transmigrated twice.
On one side, college student Ruihao secretly raises a Caterpie in his dorm, witnessing the miracle of its evolution into Metapod. On the other, national leader Jiang Shan struggles to make difficult choices in the face of the Pokemon threat. When Lu Jing casually shatters his handcuffs in an interrogation room and laughs as he admits, “I’m the mastermind behind the monster invasion,” human civilization reaches a turning point.
Should Pokemon be treated as a threat and wiped out completely? Or should humanity learn to coexist with these extraordinary creatures?
Pokemon Descend: a struggle over the future of civilization, and an astonishing journey that crosses the boundary between gods and humans. When Legendary Pokemon put on suits and clock in at work, when an ordinary boy dreams of becoming a Pokemon Trainer, and when the ancient Creator God sits in his office clipping his nails, the world has already become nothing like the one you remember.
The age of Pokemon has begun. Are you ready?
