In the neon-lit arena, he is Wuwei (Yang Tao), the "Wild King" of Nanjing Hero for a long time. He is calm and decisive, powerful, and shoulders the glory and expectations of the team. Under the spotlight, he is a much-anticipated KPL professional player, and every move touches people's hearts.
However, when the hustle and bustle dissipates and the heavy armor is taken off, he is just an ordinary young man who gets tired and confused, longing for a quiet corner where his soul can breathe, a understanding and warmth that needs no words.
Next to the e-sports base, there is a small world called "Wanfeng Bookstore". The owner, Xia Wan, is quiet and indifferent, and is out of tune with the fast pace around him. She prefers the fragrance of words and enjoys the richness of coffee. She knows little about the passionate world next door and sticks to her simple and regular life.
An accidental stop made the "Wild King" on the field break into this bookstore surrounded by the evening breeze and the fragrance of books. One is an e-sports boy who is used to applause and pressure, and the other is an artistic shop owner immersed in his own peaceful world.
When the fiery dream meets the gentle evening breeze, when the noisy soul meets the quiet harbor, their story unfolds. This is not only about the passion and glory of e-sports, but also about how people from two different worlds can find comfort, understanding and the possibility of love in each other's lives.
