The Vast Cosmos of Xuanhuang: an infinite, chaotic void traversed by ninety-nine "Ancient Xuanhuang Rivers."
Each Ancient River is formed from the condensed remains of an entire era. Whoever can journey upstream can steal that era's "Originating Sacred Flame."
When all ninety-nine Sacred Flames of Origin have gone out, Xuanhuang will fall into the eternal "Cycle of Black Silence," and all things will return to nothingness.
