The divine corpse fell and split into two.
Humanity is transformed into Shengsheng, holding a sword with white hair, looking for meaning in the ruins of despair; divinity is transformed into Gushang, wrapped in a black scythe, whispering the true meaning of destruction deep in the soul.
The story begins with the ending: Sheng is on the verge of death, and his grief appears. Going back to the starting point: a young man whose memory has been tampered with is forced to embark on a thorny road to hunt down the entities of the "Seven Deadly Sins". From the gentle land of "laziness" to the puppet show of "lust", every time he swallows the power of sin, the shadow of the old sorrow in his body becomes deeper.
This is not a simple salvation journey. Underneath the "inanimate" smile of his companion, there is a precise calculation; behind the killing of the "old sorrow" in the body, is the cold truth of the universe. Sheng Sheng gradually discovered that he was not a container, but a sacrifice; the so-called power was actually a shackle. When the warmth of humanity and the emptiness of divinity fight in the same soul, the end of hunting sin is to face the despair that one's own existence is original sin.
This is a war between yourself and yourself. When the sickle swung for the last time and the world fell into silence, the answer may have been written in the cracks that split the divine corpse before the story began.
