Zhang Chen inherits the dilapidated feng shui shop his grandfather left behind when he disappeared. Facing overwhelming debt and the neighbors' ridicule, he accidentally activates the bloodstained "Zhang Family Feng Shui Secrets" and awakens his ancestral feng shui inheritance and the “Fiend-Subduing System.”
His first client is a young woman living alone who asks for help. When the compass reacts to an evil presence, Zhang Chen sees through her disguise and identifies her as a Five-Colored Ghost. He narrowly drives it off with a simple talisman, and the System unlocks basic feng shui knowledge and the ability to exchange “Fiend-Subduing Points” for rewards.
