Night Falcon Soars: The Blackscale Mystery

In the Great Jing Dynasty, beneath the shadow of a golden age, the former dynasty’s powerful faction, the Blackscale Pavilion, wields forbidden sorcery and poison arts, conspiring with regional princes to overthrow the throne.

Five years ago, Xiao Jingyuan, a commander in the Embroidered Uniform Guard, was framed and killed. His son, Xiao Che, returned from the southern frontier under the alias “Night Falcon.” In Linjiang Prefecture, he crossed paths with Su Lingwei, a female judicial officer investigating the cause of her brother’s death. One worked in the open, the other in the shadows. From suspicion to alliance, they joined forces and smashed the astonishing web of intrigue spun by the Blackscale Pavilion.

From a local lair to the whirlpool of the capital, the loyalty and betrayal of their fathers’ generation gradually come to light, and the conspiracy to restore the former dynasty will soon reveal its true face. This is more than a quest to clear his father’s name: it is a final confrontation that uses truth as its flame to purge the darkness from the court. The Night Falcon cries out, vowing to restore justice and innocence to the realm.
