New works are released. Welcome to Tomato Novel to read my works. I hope you all like them. Your attention is the motivation for my writing. I will try my best to tell every story! The old shopkeeper of Xuanzhi Zhai on the shore of the East China Sea has been there for three hundred years, just waiting for an ancient spiritual painting to awaken. This volume is based on spiritual silkworm cocoon paper and uses the essence and blood of spiritual animals as ink. It contains the remnant souls of thousands of spirits and monsters such as the Kunlun ice snake and the ghost tapir.
In the middle of the night, a painting scroll appears, and a fire-patterned skink breaks the painting and asks for help. When the eyes of the painting reflect the three hundred years of obsession of the old shopkeeper, the formless inner demon takes the opportunity to infect his consciousness. Holding the only rewriting magical tool "Soul-nurturing Pen", he is caught in the dilemma of saving the spirit monster to gain freedom or calming the inner demon to protect the three realms.
Recalling his beloved disciple's last words, "Spirituality should grow freely," the old shopkeeper broke through the shackles with a pen and used the power of phoenix fire and dragon scales to release the spirits and trap the inner demons. From then on, the ancient paintings of Xuanzhizhai became a wonder of the three realms: some people here glimpsed the obsessions of the past life, some formed a contract with spirits, and the old shopkeeper transformed into a "spiritual ferryman" in the three realms of humans, demons and immortals, using the scrolls as a bridge to guard the spiritual ties connecting all things. But the formless inner demon is still dormant in the painting, waiting for the next soul to be tempted by obsession.
