Great Ming: From the Start, I Burn the Imperial Edict and Rebel in Ningzhou County!

Lin Qi transmigrates to the Hongwu era and unexpectedly binds himself to the “Lone Wanderer System.” All he wants is to be a happy county magistrate in Ningzhou County!

He grows potatoes, brews beer, trains elite troops, and turns his little county into a place more prosperous than the capital.

But when Zhu Yuanzhang discovers he hasn't held the imperial examinations for three years, the emperor flies into a rage: “Execute him!”

The day the imperial edict arrives at the county office, Lin Qi burns it and parades the imperial envoys through the streets, aiming 180 cannons straight at Yingtian Prefecture!

Zhu Yuanzhang is furious: “You dare to rebel?”

Lin Qi just smiles faintly and writes his reply on the imperial edict:

“Your Majesty, it's not that I want to rebel. You forced my hand.”

“Seven battles to claim the realm. Care to bet?”

From then on, the whole Ming dynasty changes beyond recognition.

The tributary states watch the spectacle, the Northern Yuan pauses its raids, and Xu Da's daughter secretly places her bets!

Meanwhile, the people of Ningzhou County have already prepared a dragon robe: “Magistrate, when are we marching on Yingtian?”
