No female lead + wasteland + The Fourth Calamity
Two hundred years after the world-ending disaster, the ashes of the old world await a new beginning. The wasteland's survivors struggle to live between radioactive dust and mutated creatures, while scavengers eke out a living by picking through trash.
Then one day, a group of beings calling themselves “players” suddenly appears out of nowhere.
They keep shouting words no one understands, like “walkthrough,” “dungeon,” and “health bar,” and they're always muttering at thin air. “Kill them all, kill them all!” The strangest part is that, before long, the same faces show up again.
The wasteland's residents gradually realize something is wrong and panic.
The old town mayor shakily adds a new entry to the book: “The Fourth Calamity: immortal, bloodthirsty (?), fond of collecting junk, enemies of all living things (or maybe they're just playing).”
