The God-Slaying Bow

My name is Tang Wu, the sole survivor of the Tang family of the Eastern Wastelands. At ten years old, I watched a false god slaughter my entire clan. With my spiritual meridians blocked, I couldn’t cultivate or learn martial arts, and everyone saw me as a good-for-nothing. But a remnant soul of the Medicine God lay hidden within me. It taught me to temper my body with medicine, defy fate, and remake myself. I refuse to follow the usual path, and instead forge a path of body cultivation. In an ancient cave, I find the God-Slaying Bow left behind by Hou Yi, which only my bloodline can draw. Anyone else who touches it is struck by the backlash, but I draw it and split mountains and earth. A monkey travels at my side, and I fear neither poison formations nor demonic arts. I rise from the ruins, withstand heavenly lightning with my body, and draw the divine bow with my bare hands. The gods of this world are unjust, so I will shoot them down.
